Assessment Services

Fees for assessment services will vary depending on the extent of the evaluation required. Below is an overview of some of the most commonly requested evaluation packages with an estimated price range. Please note that costs will vary for each individual case. During the complimentary initial consultation, we will discuss the testing needs of your child and you will be provided the fees associated with the planned assessments before we begin the evaluation process.

School Admissions Assessments

$500-$1000

IQ testing may be required for admissions to schools and/or Gifted and Talented programs. Depending on the school or program, a single assessment (IQ) may be enough, and often achievement assessments are also required to complement the IQ testing. We’ll create an evaluation plan that meets the specific requirements set by your school and/or program.

A note on pricing

Comprehensive Psychoeducational Evaluation

$1500-$3500

A comprehensive evaluation including psychoeducational assessments is utilized when there is a concern related to an individual’s learning. Concerns may be related to specific academic skills (reading, writing, math) and/or social-emotional concerns related to executive functioning, attention, emotional regulation, etc. This level of evaluation will thoroughly assess all areas that may be impacting learning to identify strengths and weaknesses within the learning profile and provide a diagnostic summary and individualized recommendations.

Consultation and Educational Services

$150/hour

Consultation services are available at an hour rate to provide an array of supports. Families may wish to have an extended session going over recommendations in greater depth than what was provided during the feedback session of a Comprehensive Evaluation. Ongoing sessions with parents to support implementation of recommendations is also available.

Additionally, we can consult with families who have previously had testing done by another clinician and would like interpretation support of the evaluation report that they received, including school evaluation reports.

The price ranges given above are estimates.  The exact cost of services is determined by the complexity of the evaluation and amount of time required for testing and interpretation, which includes a comprehensive evaluation report containing assessment results, diagnostics and individualized recommendations. You will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate of your actual cost prior to beginning the evaluation. My practice accepts cash, checks, and most major credit cards.  Half of the total cost will be required prior to the first testing session, and the final installment will be required prior to receiving the final evaluation report.

I do not currently take health insurance or do direct billing, but will provide you with an invoice for services. You can submit this invoice to your insurance company if you get out-of-network benefits, or use it to be reimbursed through your medical flex spending account.

Be sure to check with your insurance company about out-of-network benefits before scheduling your evaluation if you plan to submit for reimbursement.
